This blog is dedicated to the Toledo Rockets and maintained by a group of friends with ties to the University. We’ve traveled all over the country following the Rockets and watching them compete. We’ve watched UT have some fine wins… like defeating Pittsburgh when they were #7 in the country, knocking off Marshall to win the MAC and rolling in the Motor City bowl… and we’ve faced some tough losses, some in OT, some to BGSU, some because our hearts weren’t in it — but regardless of the outcome, we remained fans. We’ve witnessed great acts of athleticism and great displays of sportsmanship in the Glass Bowl and watched it turn into NFL talent like Chester Taylor and Bruce Gradkowski, along with many others.

The MAC isn’t home to teams that compete for the National Championship every year – but the MAC has good football. The time is gone when elite teams can schedule MAC teams and expect an automatic win; they have to earn it.
