Here’s the scoop on Mike Ebert:

Coach Campbell: “Mike Ebert is an athlete with great size and great potential. He brings great enthusiasm to the football field. He’s also a great student in the classroom.”

Mike Ebert was named first-team all-conference as both a tight end and defensive end as a senior. His offensive numbers included 12 catches for 128 yards. Defensively, he totaled 88 tackles, including nine sacks. As a junior, he made first-team all-conference as a tight end with 48 catches for 440 yards and three touchdowns, and secondteam all-conference as a defensive end with 88 tackles and nine sacks. Ebert also was a three-year letterwinner in basketball, twice being named first-team all-district and all-conference. He was also a two-time conference champion in track and field and a state finalist in the shot put and discus.
