On a game in which three injured Rockets returned to the lineup, Toledo smashed Miami, 49-28, in its annual Homecoming game at the Glass Bowl Saturday night. With the victory, Toledo (5-3, 4-0 MAC) holds on to sole possession of the West Division of the Mid-American Conference.
Back in the lineup for Toledo were senior RB Adonis Thomas, junior LB Dan Molls and junior safety Jermaine Robinson. Thomas broke free for a 67-yard rush on his first carry since breaking his arm vs. Syracuse on Sept. 24. Molls was in the lineup for the first time since the season opener on Sept. 1 and had five tackles. Robinson, who missed one game with a broken arm, finished with three tackles and two pass breakups.
