Arizona is projeced 3rd in a tough PAC 10 conferance. Coming off of an 8-5 season last year, expectations are higher with a much easier schedule. The wildcats return 10 of 11 starters on offense and should be chomping at the bit to kick the snot out of Toledo on September 3rd. The Rockets are coming off of a 5-7 year with Coach Beckman coming back for his 2nd year coaching the Rockets. Toledo has high hopes for a bowl bid this year with a tough non conferance schedule against teams such as Arizona, Purdue, Wyoming, and Boise State. Even though Toledo graduated their starting QB, RB and WR, they have some players who are ready to step in and fill those positions. Toledo will most likely be 10 or more point underdogs in this game but i predict Toledo will come out strong and give the wildcats a scare. If the glass bowl has 24,000+ in attendance, Toledo could carry momentum in an upset win. Arizona has this game on paper, but Toledo could prevail and start off the season 1-0.
