The Rockets don’t need any extra motivation for this week’s season finale, but there is some added incentive, nevertheless.

Toledo travels to its arch-rival, the Bowling Green Falcons, this Friday, Nov. 27 for the 74th meeting of the two schools. The Rockets need a win to finish the season with a 6-6 record and reach bowl eligibility, something UT has not accomplished since going 9-3 in 2005. First-year head coach Tim Beckman would like nothing more than to send out his seniors with the best record in their four seasons in Midnight Blue and Gold.

If we can find a way to slow down BGSU’s passing attack, we’ve got a shot at this one. Barnes is dangerous, but no more dangerous than Page and Williams, and we have a very solid running game too.. and that gives us the edge.
