From Zach Silka at the Blade:

With his right shoulder tightening up, the University of Toledo senior quarterback was forced to the sideline in the fourth quarter against Miami on Saturday and ultimately watched the Rockets lose to a winless team.

“It was really frustrating for me to not be able to finish that game,” Opelt said yesterday. “[My shoulder] wasn’t feeling good. It had been bothering me a little bit in the second half, and it was one of those things where that was the time I had to stop.”

The good news for the Rockets is that Opelt will have until Nov. 11 to rest his shoulder and get healthy before Toledo has to face CMU.

“We have a week and a half off, and I’m really excited about that,” he said. “That’s one of those games you circle before the season starts and you want to be out there ready for. It’s a huge game for us, and I’ll do everything I can to be ready.”

UT coach Tim Beckman said he plans to rest Opelt and not allow him to throw until Saturday to give his shoulder as much time as possible to heal.

The most interesting part of the article came at the end, and wasn’t about Opelt at all:

Beckman also revealed that freshman receiver and Springfield grad Eric Page worked as the third-string quarterback behind junior Alex Pettee and redshirt freshman David Pasquale at practice Sunday with Opelt and Dantin out.
As he has done all season, Page impressed the coaching staff with his versatility and playmaking capability.
Asked how he looked behind center, Beckman said, “Well, he threw a touchdown pass. It seems that whatever Eric is doing, he’s doing pretty well. He’s not to where you’d want a quarterback to be right now, but could he come in and manage a game? I think so.”

Page continues to impress.
