Straight from UTRockets.com:

Like a Senior Night script from “Friday Night Lights,” seniors Austin Dantin and David Pasquale came off the bench and led the Rockets to a 35-23 victory over Akron in their final game at the Glass Bowl on Tuesday.

Freshman Alonzo Russell led all receivers with nine receptions for 139 yards and two TDs. On the defensive side, senior linebacker Dan Molls added to his nation-leading tackler total by tying his season best with 18 stops.

Toledo, which also played without leading rusher David Fluellen (ankle), ends its regular season with a 9-3 record, 6-2 in Mid-American Conference play. Akron finishes 1-11, 0-8 in MAC play.

Great to see the team face adversity and still put this one to bed and end the regular season on a high note. This will be especially sweet for the 18 seniors who completed their final game in the Glass Bowl.
